GatherMe

Brand guidelines

How GatherMe looks and sounds, wherever it shows up. Workplace training, made simple.

Voice and tone

Sound like a capable colleague, not a vendor

Warm, plain-spoken and confident. We talk about people and outcomes, in sentence case, with Australian spelling and no jargon. No em dashes.

Do

  • "Training your team will actually finish."
  • "Renewals remind themselves before they lapse."
  • Lead with the benefit, address "your team".
  • Short sentences. Say the thing.

Don't

  • "Leverage our synergistic learning ecosystem."
  • "Revolutionise your L&D paradigm!"
  • Buzzwords: utilise, robust, seamless, game-changing.
  • Title Case, ALL CAPS, or em dashes.
Colour

Teal leads, coral lifts

Four primitives drive the whole system; everything else derives from them, so a tenant rebrands by overriding these four.

Pine teal

Accessibility: pine teal and white pass WCAG AA both ways (~6:1), so use teal for text and buttons. Coral is a graphic colour, not a text colour (~2.8:1 on white); use it for fills only, and if text must sit on coral use dark coral #4A1B0C. Keep coral separate from the status red #D64545: coral is a flourish, red means destructive.
Typography

Plus Jakarta Sans, one face everywhere

The same typeface across the site and the app. The logo wordmark is outlined, so no font file is needed to use the logo.

Logo

The dot-ring, gathering around the "me"

Fourteen dots gathering around a coral centre. Keep clear space equal to the height of the mark. Do not recolour, stretch, rotate, or add effects. Use the white logo on dark or coloured backgrounds.

Iconography and imagery

Simple, warm, human

Line icons at ~2px stroke with rounded caps, drawn in ink or teal. Photography is real people in real workplaces, warm and unposed, leaning to the care and community sector. Put a deep-teal overlay behind white text on photos. The dot motif can be reused sparingly as a soft background texture.
